Questions...

1.- What did I learn today?
I learnt that Methodology is a set of very important aspects to consider at the moment
     of teaching.
I also learnt about the first stage on the lesson plan, I need to designe an effective
presentation, getting in the students their attention,
     perception,  and hopefully a connection.

2.- How is this connected to my future experience?
With it, I am starting to know the techniques, strategies, and tools that I' m going to use
in my future professional task. Creating a blog, for example, I'm learning to use the
technology, what is very important to manage in a classroom, nowadays. I like very
much the topics concerning to Didactics.

3.- What are 3 concepts/would highlight from today's lesson?

     Concerning to Methodology:
     a. A clear objective (in teaching)
     b. Effective Strategies (that get the metacognition of the students)
     c. Technology (it is necessary to know how to use it in the classroom)

Presentation

Text book: Cambridge English for Schools

Unit : 3   - Schools around the world.
Page: 33

GIVE THE STUDENTS TIME TO LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF DIFFERENT SCHOOLS AND THEN ASK THE QUESTIONS GIVEN.
ASK THEM WHERE THEY THINK THE SCHOOLS ARE.
(THEY ARE FROM INDIA, CHINA, SPAIN, ENGLAND AND AFRICA).

Comment:

I think this presentation is effective, it can get the students' attention, because the pictures  are visually atractive for them.
The perception is well focused, all the students can see the pictures, take a time to imagine what can be the place and then answer the questions.
The pictures, surely showing students like them, create a connection because they can know how the children in different places around the world do. This is also good if the teacher try to teach values like respect for different ways of living.
